Greene and Greene Style

As a furniture designer inspired by the Greene and Greene architectural styles, I’ve added a modern twist to their iconic style while paying homage to their design principles. I continue their design inspiration by displaying the joinery and structural elements, such as ebony pegs and splines.  Not concealed, but instead prominently displayed as decorative details, as well as put a modern twist on the iconic “cloud-lift” motif.

In this design collection, I’ve blended the traditional elements of Greene and Greene furniture of intricate joinery with contemporary aesthetics and functional needs. Each piece has a sense of refined elegance, with clean lines and thoughtful proportions that fit within a modern living space. Through attention to detail and an innovative approach to form and function, I aim to honor the Greene and Greene Brothers’ legacy while offering furniture that resonates with today’s modern furniture style.
