Things to think about when ordering a custom Shelf

Aesthetics

When helping you design your custom Shelves, if you can provide photos of the space it is going in or other furniture it will be paired with, it can be great in helping me determine a design direction.

Do you have a particular style that you want for your custom shelves? (modern, craftsman, industrial, etc.)
Do you have a particular layout, such as a floating or more of a traditional sit-on-the-floor style?
Darker woods vs. Lighter woods, natural wood colors v.s. a stain.
Do you want to incorporate other materials like glass, metals, stone, or integrated lights?

Ergonomics

Do you have things of a special height or depth that need to go on the shelves?
Do you need any special functionality, such as storage?
What is the overall size of the space the shelves can take up? (footprint and wall space)
Is this being paired with other furniture that it needs to coordinate with?
