Here are some things to think about when ordering a custom bench

Aesthetics

When helping you design your custom bench, if you can provide photos of the space it is going in or other furniture it will be paired with, it can be great in helping me determine a design direction.

• Do you have a particular style that you want for the bench? (modern, craftsman, industrial, etc.)
• Do you have a particular layout, such as a bench with a backrest or no backrest?
• Darker woods vs. Lighter woods, natural wood colors v.s. a stain.
• Do you want to incorporate other materials like glass, metals, or stone?

Ergonomics

I can help you tailor your bench to fit your style and habits.

• Do you have a comfortable sitting height  (A typical seating height is 18″)
• Do you need any special functionality, such as storage?
• Do you have a particular length in mind?
  • If this is going in an entryway or other similar room, please provide the size of the room or the length of the wall against which it is going.  So we can size it appropriately.
• If this is being paired with a dining table, please provide the table length so we can size it to fit.
