Traditional Scottish Spurtle – Stir Something Real
There’s a reason Scottish cooks have reached for the spurtle for centuries. This slender, tapered stirring tool is made for one thing: coaxing a perfect, lump-free porridge from pot to bowl. No corners to trap food. No flat edges to drag. Just smooth, efficient stirring, the way it was meant to be done.
Our spurtles carry that same tradition. At 11½ inches long, each spurtle sits comfortably in the hand, long enough to keep your fingers clear of the heat, balanced enough to feel like an extension of your arm. Each spurtle is finished with a durable, food-safe hand-rubbed oil.
