Hand-Rubbed Oils

Hand-rubbed oils, including Tung oil, linseed oil, and Danish oil, penetrate wood fibers to enhance grain, improve durability, and provide a satin, water-resistant finish. These oils are applied by wiping on, allowing them to penetrate the wood’s pores, then wiping off excess.  Food-safe Tung oil is ideal for wooden cutting boards and kitchen utensils.  It is our go-to finish for our products that come incontact with food.
