Gloss

Gloss finish on furniture provides a highly reflective and modern-looking surface that makes colors pop.  Achieving a high-gloss finish requires meticulous surface preparation, which can add additional cost to your custom furniture project.  It is not a great finish for open-grain woods like oak, as it highlights imperfections, and the open grain breaks up the glossy surface.  However, when used in the right application, it can really make a piece pop!  Gloss finishes are often referred to as piano finishes.
