James Krenov Inspired Dowel and Post Drawer Pull
Each walnut Post has its edges eased over by hand, and each maple dowel is turned on the lathe with a subtle bulge in the middle to add some visual interested and be inviting to the hand,
I used these the Cherry Writing Desk and Entry Table
Walnut Steam Bent Handle
The handles edges are easier over to invite the hand and inlaid in to the drawer front over a routed out recess
I used this in the Splayed leg Green and Green Side Table
Inlaid wood pull
The wood bar is inlaid into the recess for a strong and comfortable pull. The edges are pillowed to give the pull some visual interest as well as make a pleasing pull to use.
I intended to use these in the Contemporary barn doors but the client decided they wanted a steel pull to complement the stainless steel bans dividing the door panels and were changed out with a hand forged steel bar pull
