This custom entry door was built around a client’s request for a geometric swoosh element with blue patination in the copper. The centerpiece is a fumed copper panel that showcases the rich blues and deep browns that come out of the fuming process. A painted black curve defines the swoosh and ties directly into the dividers of the three walnut panels, pulling the whole composition together. The frame is painted black to match. The design came together really well; it is one of those projects where the client’s vision of a custom copper entry door and the final product lined up perfectly.
