This wall-hanging storage coat rack, with an art display shelf, was built to hang above a craftsman-style bench I built for a Denver client’s entryway. It is made out of oak and stained to compliment the client’s existing woodwork. You can customize your stain color by using the “Customize Order” tab and filling out the form with the changes and stain colors you would like.
The coat rack has five double coat hooks installed to fit up ten coats. It also features approximately 10″ wide, 8″ tall, and 12″ deep cubes to accommodate wicker baskets to store gloves and hats. Again, you can customize this configuration through the Customize Order tab.
My favorite feature of this coat rack is the top shelf. Unlike most wall-hanging cabinets, I built the crown molding flush with the top so you can display your favorite pieces of art on the top shelf without hiding them behind the crown molding.
The shelf is attached to the wall for easy installation using a hidden French cleat system.
