This contemporary fireplace mantel is made from walnut,  It is mitered on all sides, so no end grain is showing, giving a modern contemporary feel.  It is made from walnut and attached to the wall with a french cleat.  It fits perfectly in its new home in a Broadmoor Colorado Neighborhood.  It is a simple, elegant floating shelf solution to add a modern look to your fireplace.
