Travis graduated from George Mason University in 2003 earning a degree in African Studies with a concentration in Economic Development. Travis developed his passion for photography and travel on his first trip to Africa in 1999. His passion for travel and the environment has honed his photography skills. He specializes in capturing the essence of the natural world through its abundant wildlife, many cultures, and endless landscapes. His passion and commitment to the natural world aids in creating evocative images that lend themselves to a positive environmental awareness and agenda for the future. Travis seeks to use photography in its fine art form to transport his viewers throughout the world to experience and appreciate the essence, beauty and many manifestations of the living world and its inhabitants.
