David's passion for ceramics and photography go back 50 years. As a young school boy he saw the heat through the peep hole of a ceramic kiln being fired and thought to himself. "That's what I want to do". Ever since then he has worked to perfect his art in ceramics. In Jr. High school he started his studies in photography and it has been his primary passion in life ever since.
He has worked for a museum, a newspaper and a number of photo labs as a darkroom technician producing award winning photos. He says, "It's not the camera or the clay; it's what we do with it"
